From platforms to networks
India's defence modernisation is shifting emphasis from individual platforms to integrated networks. The aim is to link sensors, shooters and decision-makers into a single, responsive system where information flows seamlessly from detection to action. This is the essence of network-centric warfare and of a mature C4ISR capability. Fragmented efforts produce fragmented systems; integrated capability demands an integrated ecosystem.
